Stunning, oval blue star sapphire ring. Dark navy blue star sapphire has a gorgeous 6 point star that moves with the light both in the sun and in artificial light. The gemstone is nestled in a 22K gold bezel and sterling silver backplate. The setting rests atop a sandy textured, comfortable tapered band.
Star sapphires are difficult to photograph as the star is best visible under direct light. I have photographed this ring in direct light to show the star as well as indirect light where the star is not visible. This is to give you an idea of the different characteristics and how the ring will appear in person.
